Box 1, Folder 3, Item 2- Letter to Dick T. and Ora Morgan from Edna (1901 January 14)

Forest Home
Jan. 14, 1901
Dear Uncle and Aunt,
Last week we received your card but the box did not come until yesterday, but it was alright.
All are delighted with the pretty remembrances and I write for Papa, Brother and myself to try
to thank you for the share. They are so pretty and we thank you so much for them, and assure
you they are appreciated. I had so much S.S. work to do for Xmas that I had neither time to
make nor purchase remembrances for my friends but I sincerely wished all a merry Christmas
and a Happy New year with choicest blessings
We are having remarkably beautiful winter weather Roads as smooth and dusty as summer
almost. Revival meetings are in progress at Wabash Chapel.
We are all really well now and busy of course. I am getting little odd jobs done now and working
on music preparatory to going to work in the Spring.
Aunt Dell will tell you the news I suppose so I will not write more now.
I would like so much to hear from you.
Lovingly,
Edna.
