Mrs. Morgan, I write to you last week, I supposed you got it I want to ratify a mistake I told you.
Jane was staying with Mrs. Batley she started to Batley’s and it rained and she stayed this side
of Guthrie and I was sent staying at home and I didn’t know but what she went on till after I
wrote yours.
