Box 1, Folder 1, Ice 33- Letter to [Ora Morgan?] from F. [Dahmer] (1892 December 04)

Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Dec. 4th, 1892

My Dear Friend,
I received your letter mission on Friday P.M. instead of Thursday. The 1st was delighted to get it
as it was the first letter I received under the head of "Free Delivery."
Rest assured I take pleasure in answering it and waited have done so before had not my
household cares been so heavy on Saturday. Had I not been such an important Guthrie lady
your mission would probably never have reached Mrs. Since. This is such a large city. So we may
be thankful we escaped so readily. Thanks for your appreciation of my last visit. i will certainly
try to come again soon. In the time a visit from you would be enjoyed greatly. As this is the
Lords day, and we are instructed to keep it holy. I must refrain and say, adieu! Hoping to hear
from you soon and see you sooner
I remain your old friend,
F. Dahmer.
