Box 1, Folder 4, Item 1—Letter to Mrs. Tucker from Ora Morgan (1902 Aug 05)

Lovington, Ind.
Aug 5, ‘02

Mrs. Tucker:
Mr. Morgan received a letter from you not long ago. I had always thought until then, that I was
the member of the family who was a member of the ladies’ “Aid Society” of the Christian
Church, there, and that I was duly appreciated. You apparently wrote as [?] of the “Aid”.
Consequentially, they may have the satisfaction of knowing that they have done their part toward
sending me-, for if I ever tried to be and to do as I should it was while at P. I am completely
crushed.
Further, in closing, your remarks, personally, of appreciation, [?], were so decidedly one-sided
that you need not longer consider us friends.
Mrs. Dick T Morgan
