Staid at Daniels until 5:40 a.m. arrived in Chicago 9:15 a.m. Left Chicago 6:05 p.m. Drove in
K.C. at 8:50 a.m. Aug. 27-13 at our train is late. We are 20 miles out from K.C. and it is 15
minutes till 10 oÕclock. DonÕt know how I will make communications at K.C for Oklahoma. It
is raining here this morning. Weather at Chicago was pleasant. Will finish this at K.C.
K. C. 10:00 a.m.
arrived o.k. Have purchased ticket in Rock Island for El Reno [[direct?]]. Leave in 20 minutes.
DonÕt know but-think I get there at 12:25 tonight.
