Covington, Indiana, April 28, 1907.
Dear Brother Dick:I have just returned from ÒFOREST HOMEÓ but have nothing further to say in regard to the
60th anniversary than Dell has said in her letter to Ode, which I inclose [[sic]] herewith,
EXCEPT to insist on you coming along with Ode if you conveniently can.
They seem to be making an extra effort for a large attendance at U. C. C. commencement this
year and, since it occurs June 12th we thaught [[sic]] both events could be taken in on a flying
trip, if convenient to you at that time and you were so disposed.
The weather today gives strong evidence of the back-bone of Winter being broken and we life in
hopes that Spring has arrived for the season, although the frosts and freezes during April have
made people feel and act pretty blue for several weeks.
The folks were all well when I left home. Trusting that we may hear from you soon as well as
seen you at no distant day, I am
Your Affectionate Brother
Evan W. Heath
